Internal tools

Internal tools built around how you work.

When the business runs on spreadsheets, group chats and memory, small mistakes cost real time. We build the screens your team actually needs, in the order they do the work.

Sound familiar?

  • One spreadsheet, five versions

Copies multiply, nobody is sure which is current, and fixing a mistake means checking them all.

  • Knowledge in one head

The process works because one person remembers how. When they are off, things slip.

  • Re-typing the same details

Customer, job and invoice details are entered three times in three places, and each copy drifts.

What is included.

The usual starting point. Your proposal sets out exactly what your project covers.

  • Screens designed around your existing process
  • Logins and permissions for each role in your team
  • Search, filters and exports to spreadsheet
  • Works on phones, tablets and desktops
  • Audit trail of who changed what, and when
  • Import of your existing spreadsheet data

Typical builds.

A few of the things this covers. If yours is not listed, the estimate will still price it.

  • Job and visit scheduling
  • Staff rotas and timesheets
  • Stock and equipment tracking
  • Quote and job pipelines
  • Compliance and document expiry tracking
  • Customer records in one place

How a project runs

Four steps, in order. A named lead stays with you throughout, so you always know who is responsible and what happens next.

  1. Estimate and discovery call

Get an estimate in a few minutes, then a free 20-minute call about the problem, who does the work today and what a good result looks like. No obligation to go further.

  2. Written proposal

What we will build, what is left out, what we need from you and how we will both know it is finished. The price and timeline are confirmed here, before any work starts.

  3. Build, in view

You see working software as it takes shape, not just at the end, so you can steer early while changes are still small.

  4. Launch

We put it live and walk your team through it. Then we either run it for you or hand everything over: your choice, set out below.

Questions about internal tools.

Why not use an off-the-shelf tool?

Often you should, and we will say so. A custom tool makes sense when off-the-shelf software forces your team to work around it, or when you are paying for several tools to cover one process.

Can you bring in our existing spreadsheets?

Yes. We import your current data as part of the build and check it with you before launch, so nobody starts from a blank screen.

Will our team need training?

We design around how your team already works, so there is little to learn. Launch includes a walkthrough, and short written guides where they help.

Can it grow with us later?

Yes. We start with the workflow that matters most and build on mainstream tools, so new screens can be added as the business changes.
