Dashboards and reporting

Dashboards that show what is happening, without the Monday spreadsheet.

If someone spends hours each week copying numbers into a report, the numbers are already out of date when you read them. We pull them together automatically from the tools you already use.

Sound familiar?

  • Reports built by hand

Figures are exported, pasted and tidied every week, and one wrong paste changes the picture.

  • Numbers in five different places

Sales, jobs, invoices and staff time sit in separate tools, so nobody sees them side by side.

  • Finding out too late

Problems like overdue invoices or slipping jobs show up at month end instead of the day they happen.

What is included.

The usual starting point. Your proposal sets out exactly what your project covers.

  • Figures pulled automatically from your existing tools
  • The handful of measures that matter to you, not fifty charts
  • Views for owners, managers and teams
  • Filters by date, location, team or customer
  • Scheduled email summaries
  • Export to spreadsheet whenever you need it

Typical builds.

A few of the things this covers. If yours is not listed, the estimate will still price it.

  • Sales and enquiry pipelines
  • Job completion and utilisation
  • Cash flow and overdue invoices
  • Staff hours and capacity
  • Customer retention
  • Marketing source tracking

How a project runs

Four steps, in order. A named lead stays with you throughout, so you always know who is responsible and what happens next.

  1. Estimate and discovery call

Get an estimate in a few minutes, then a free 20-minute call about the problem, who does the work today and what a good result looks like. No obligation to go further.

  2. Written proposal

What we will build, what is left out, what we need from you and how we will both know it is finished. The price and timeline are confirmed here, before any work starts.

  3. Build, in view

You see working software as it takes shape, not just at the end, so you can steer early while changes are still small.

  4. Launch

We put it live and walk your team through it. Then we either run it for you or hand everything over: your choice, set out below.

Questions about dashboards and reporting.

Which systems can you report from?

Most tools with an API or a regular export, including Xero, QuickBooks, Stripe, HubSpot and Google Sheets. We confirm your exact setup on the discovery call.

Why not use a reporting tool like Looker Studio?

Sometimes that is the right answer, and we will say so. Custom dashboards help when the data needs joining up or cleaning first, or when the figures need to sit inside a tool your team already uses.

How up to date are the figures?

As often as the source systems allow, from near real time to a nightly refresh. We agree the right frequency with you.

Can different people see different figures?

Yes. Each role can have its own view, and sensitive figures can be limited to owners.
